Literacy test

A literacy test is a form of test given to assess the ability (reading, spelling, comprehension) of pupils and in modern times has become an essential aspect of the education system. The results may be expressed in a percentage or standardised score format.

Literacy day

Literacy is the most important criteria to help in the development and improvement of the living standards in a society. It is an important indicator for assessing the overall health of a country. The higher the literacy rate the better the economy. It also means more jobs, which in turn generates good revenue for the development of a nation.

Lower rates means not many people capitalizing on their skills which in turn can bring a decline the nation’s economy and growth.
Thus in true sense reading helps a person to read accurately, analyse critically, write coherently, pronounce words correctly ,which in turn can help that person form appropriate conclusions and take right decisions.
